Amazon says customer data helps build its AI.
It may also track how you use its ads elsewhere.
The What
Amazon's privacy notice now states that customer data helps build and run its generative AI models and tools. It also adds tracking of ad clicks on other sites and links to outside businesses through Login with Amazon.
Prime's terms no longer say where disputes are handled.
That is now in a separate Amazon document.
The What
Prime's dispute rules now point to Amazon's Conditions of Use instead of naming courts in King County, Washington. Amazon also says it may change Prime terms without notice.
Most edits to Amazon's privacy notice are new wording and link names. A bullet on how in-store shoppers manage analytics data was removed, and mentions of a data privacy framework were added.
Amazon updated how it moves UK and Swiss data to the US.
This is mainly a wording update.
The What
Amazon's privacy policy now lists UK and Swiss data frameworks next to the EU one as ways it moves data to the US. A note saying it would wait for them to take effect is gone.
