FinePrint collects as little as it can. This policy explains what we keep, why, and how to delete it.

What we collect

• Your email address, to send sign-in links and alerts.
• The list of services you ask us to watch.
• If you choose to add them: plan name, monthly price, and renewal date for each service.
• A sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in. We use no advertising or analytics trackers.
• Basic request logs kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

What we never ask for

We never ask for access to your email inbox, bank accounts, or card statements, and we never ask for passwords to other services.

How we use it

Only to run FinePrint: to sign you in, tell you when documents for your services change, remind you about renewals, and suggest possible savings. We do not use your data to train AI models.

We never sell or share your data

We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising. We use a few providers to run the service on our behalf, under contracts that limit them to that job: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), and Resend (email delivery). When paid plans open, Stripe will process payments; we never see your full card number. Our AI summaries are made from public company documents and never include your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, we remove your email, service list, and plan details from our live database right away. Copies in encrypted backups expire within 30 days.

Your choices

• Delete your account and data at any time from your account page. No email or phone call needed.
• Remove any service, or edit plan details, whenever you like.
• Ask us what we hold about you or to correct it: info@joinfineprint.com. We answer within 30 days.

These choices are available to everyone, including residents of California and other states with privacy laws. We will not treat you differently for using them.

Children

FinePrint is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Sign-in links work once and expire after 30 minutes, and we store only scrambled versions of them.

Changes

If we change this policy in a material way, we will email you first and record the change on FinePrint's own Ledger page.
