  • Costco's 100% guarantee covers your membership, not just products.
  • There are a few exceptions.

The What

Costco offers a risk-free 100% guarantee that you will be satisfied, and it covers your membership too, not only the things you buy. Some limited exceptions apply.

The Why

If you are unhappy with your Costco membership, the guarantee may cover the membership itself, not just what you bought. There are some limits, and the return policy spells them out.

  • Costco members get one extra card for someone in their home.
  • That person must be at least 16.

The What

Costco Primary and Affiliate Members get one more card for one household member. That person must be 16 or older, share your address and have a photo on their card.

The Why

If someone you live with shops at Costco too, they may not need their own membership. The main member is responsible for what that person buys, and there's an age and address rule.

FinePrint publishes a short excerpt and a summary, never the full document. Information, not legal advice.
